Buyer Requirements
Australian Markets
1.
We’re investing to bring Australian wool to world markets
To link you with international demand we have set up a central wool
exchange desk. The Elders Exchange Desk will accurately co-ordinate
transactions between you, buyers and our network, for sales outside
the auction system.
The
Elders Exchange Desk provides another marketing channel, giving
you a mechanism to sell wool quickly and efficiently outside the
auction system and still maintain competition with all major buyers
2.
We’re investing in new Australian wool based products
We remain committed to developing new wool-based products such as
Denimwool and Woollen Blend Towels. Why? Firstly, it’s important
an Australian company encourages the use of wool in new products.
Secondly, the potential is enormous – a 5% share of the jeans
market would absorb an extra 250,000 bales of Australian wool!

Open Mill Orders and Price Express.
4.
We’re investing in processes needed to reduce selling costs

6.
We’re investing in uncovering buyer requirements
Our investment in organisations such as BWK Elders means that we know exactly what’s going on and together we
can uncover the requirements of buyers and processors to get meaningful
feedback that will ultimately help increase your returns.

We’re investing in increased feedback to wool growers

another matter to make this information actionable. Because we are
